It's pretty good. I just wrote it today.

Subway

Okay Boss, here goes. “The victim was 25 years old, living alone in an apartment building near Manhattan New York. He lived right near the river, and worked in a band, getting occasional gigs every once in a while, most of the time in the Jazz club nearby. He was murdered in his own apartment, and so far no evidence or fingerprints have been found. He played the saxophone, and from what we hear, he was a good man, with good prospects, and a lot of friends.”
Peppy continued to explain the information about the murder to his boss, and read from his small notepad, with wads of spit rocketing out of his mouth, from the 3 pieces of gum he had been so engrossed in.
They were both standing up, hands grasped onto the bars of the Subway train. They were on their way, after arriving in New York from New Jersey, to the east side of Manhattan. Detective McCormick stood still, looking at the same place, obviously thinking about the homicide.
The Subway was crowded at that time because it was about 8 o’clock, and everyone was going to work. Even so, a lot of people stared directly at the two, Peppy and McCormick because of the murder story they were involved in. They were an interesting pair, McCormick being modest and knowledgeable, Peppy being obnoxious and always saying what was on his mind. There were two open seats, but Detective McCormick didn’t want to sit down. It was hard for the two to think about the case, because of the loud noises of the Subway, and the faint noises of the pedestrian’s Ipods. McCormick had a small case of ADD, something bad to have on a Subway, but good to have as a detective. He could hear Slipknot, and Britney Spears, and he could actually hear someone talking about the murder on their cell phone.
“Yeah man, the crazy thing is, his apartment building is almost right next to mine. Yeah. He was a pretty good musician too; I went to a couple of his shows. Well it’s too loud to talk right now; I’ll call you when I get back.”
Suddenly, the lights went out and the Subway stopped. Both Peppy and McCormick flew forward, losing their hats. They were the only ones standing, but fortunately they were tightly holding the bars at the top.
“Boss, what happened?” No one could see anything, and it was a very scary feeling, because they were underground and the noise just stopped.
A gunshot sounded in front of them, and it sounded about two trains up. Everyone jolted back, and screams sounded throughout the Subway. McCormick got out his gun and flashlight, and starting running up through the train. He got the car where the gun was fired. He turned on the emergency light, and saw a man dead on the chair. Everyone in that train screamed and looked away except for McCormick and Peppy. They took out the man’s wallet, and looked at his identification. He was at the front of the train, right behind where the top train was. McCormick already new he was about to get confronted with another case.
He looked into the eyes of everyone on the Subway, as Peppy studied the man’s body features, and the contents of his wallet. It seemed that he was a normal guy, no CIA agent or anything. It didn’t seem as if any of the passengers of this train had done the murder. McCormick and Peppy checked the train before this one, because someone could have possibly went to the front train to kill the man.
The lights went out again, this time two gunshots were heard. McCormick and Peppy quickly ran back to the first train, only to see two more people dead.
McCormick didn’t want to tell everyone to leave, because then all of his suspects would be able to get away. He knew that it was someone on that train that had shot, but he didn’t know whom. There were about 20 people on the train; there were 23, now 3 are dead.
Peppy kept chewing his Double Bubble X-Treme, and said, “One of these 20 people has to be the murderer.” McCormick looked into everyone’s eyes again. He starting talking to one of the people.
“Did you see anything that happened here? Before the lights went out?”
“Well, no, the lights went out, everyone panicked, and those people died.”
“Were the gun shots anywhere near you? Like, from what area did you hear the gun shots?”
“Umm, they sounded in the front part of the train. I’m pretty sure they came from there, and not the back.”
Peppy was drawing a picture of the scene. 1 person from the front of the train died, and two people died from near the middle. Also, he crossed out the back half of the room for being suspects, because that wasn’t where the gunshot sounded. It must have been one, or two, of the seven people that were in the front of the room. It took approximately 3 or four seconds after the lights went, for the killer to shoot his gun. About 3 seconds after he shot his gun, the lights went back on.
McCormick looked at Peppy’s notebook, and started to narrow it down. He started to search every one of the suspect’s bodies, because if it took three seconds for them to put their gun away, it must be in some place that they can easily put it, like their pocket or back pack.
He searched the first man.
“Stand up, empty your pockets, and let me see your briefcase and back-pack.”
The man stood up shaking, with his eyes closed, and did what McCormick said. Only his wallet, keys, and some change fell out of his pockets, and only business papers were in his briefcase.” McCormick went on to the next man, but before he could start talking, the lights went out again.
“Everyone get down! NOW!” Everyone fell to the floor, and they were all hiding under their seats. McCormick was behind the seat of the man he was about to search. It had been 5 seconds, and no gunshots had shot out. No gunshots had shot because no one was there to shoot. They were all hiding under their seats. McCormick thought to himself. One of these people must have just stood up when the lights went off, and shot randomly. McCormick could hear footsteps.
The lights blasted back on, and everyone was hiding under their seats.
“What the hell was that boss?” Peppy asked. Peppy got up from his hiding spot, scared even himself. Even got back up and sat down again still shaking.
McCormick searched the next person, but found nothing. Also, he heard sirens. The police started coming in through the track, to the Subway train. They had drove to the nearest Subway stop, and they were starting to walk through the Subway tunnel to where the train was. The murderer must have heard the sirens too, because the lights went off again.
“Everyone down!!” McCormick got down onto the ground, his cigar falling down. He pulled out his gun from his back pocket. He starting shooting at the ceiling, and people started screaming again. McCormick had shot at the ceiling on purpose, hoping to distract the murderer. The detective stood up, turned on the emergency light right near his door, and stood face to face with the murderer. The murderer was chubby, with black eyes with bags under them, a dirty white shirt, and jeans with filth all over them. He had a gun, which was pointed right towards McCormick. McCormick’s gun was pointed right towards the man.
McCormick picked up his cigar off the ground, also being careful not to catch his guard down.
“I had a feeling it would be you.”
“How, you never even looked at me.”
“I saw it in the passenger’s eyes, none of them would kill anyone. They were scared, and none of them looked crazy. Since I knew that you were shooting in random directions, I knew that you were just a loony, because most of the time, it’s the really messed up murderers that kill random people.”
“Who would have though, a Subway Driver being a murderer, killing his own passengers?” McCormick shook his head.
Just then, Peppy tackled the Subway Driver onto one of the seats, took away his gun, and cuffed him.
“You OK boss?”

The End

My School is Torturing Me...

Well basically, I have to wake up at 7 o-clock, eat breakfast, and then take my 100 pound back pack, that's like on the brink of breaking into a million pieces, outside, in the 16 degree weather, with my dry hands, and wait for the bus for like 10 minutes. Then I get on the bus and go Math class, and then I have to take a super duper hard test that's on proportions and ratios, and then I have to go to German class, where I take another hard test on different verb forms of long and crazy German words. After the German test, I have to take a Biology test on meiosis and mitosis. If this isn't enough, I have an appointment to register for surgery in Herrin (which is like 15 minutes away), so me and my Dad take an old green 68' Ford truck down there, that's also on the brink of breaking into a million pieces. By this time it's like 11:30, and we have to wait almost an hour so that the doctor can tell me I can't eat or drink anything 24 hours before my surgery. So anyway, we haven't had lunch, so we decide to get back into the truck and go back to eat some lunch, and then my dad will drop me off at the school. It isn't that simple though, because we get in the truck, my dad tries to start it. BOOM. It's not starting. We tried like 50 times, and it still wouldn't start.

So, it's about 1 o clock, and we go back into the orthopedic Center (where I had to register for surgery to take the pin out of my arm), and we call a tow truck. The guy says in about 30 minutes he will get here. So, we are waiting in the truck for like 3 hours for this guy to show up, and remember it's 16 degrees out and we still haven't eaten lunch! So, its about four o clock when the guy shows up, and he drops us off at the Auto Shop. At this point things start getting better.

We walk about a mile to a really cool restaurant, it's like a place that serves gyros and corn dogs and hamburgers and such, and then we go all the way to SIU, get the car and go home. And then I think to myself, "uh-oh. There's another day of school tomorrow."

My very boring, wait, amazing Holiday Break.

It's new years, and for me, there's really barely anything to do. My dad is putting my little bro down to bed, so we can't watch a movie yet, my older bro is out somewhere, my other lil bro whos like 2 years old is already asleep, so i really have nothing to do. The only thing that's keeping me alive, is that I dont look bored compared to my older bro who sleeps until 3 o clock in the afternoon. I dont know, the first week of break was pretty fun, but after that... I do have some things to do though. Ive only seen 2 discs of the Seinfeld season 7 I got, and I still havent even finished the second disc of Arrested Development season 3. I just got back from New Jersey, because my mum had a conference and I was seeing my old friend that moved away, and that was pretty fun. We went to New York, Phili, and Atlantic City. Lucky for me, I got to play Monopoly with 6 people at my friends for New Year's, which has a bunch of the Street names of Atlantic City for properties in Monopoly. And I just got done with all three Back to the Future movies. Since I've seen em' like 20 times, this time I devoted myself to trying to find all of the mistakes. I only found a couple of em'. Well, I'm off to watch a movie, 12 O'Clock High with my Dadio. We got it off the back of a Raisen Bran cereal box... Come to think of it, this break hasent been so bad. CYA!!

Thanksgiving!!

Hey all! Aren't you guys feeling the Thanksgiving season? Mmmhmm, I just can't wait until Thanksgiving comes. The Turkey, the mashed potatoes, the gravy. It's all so good. With 3 more school days to go until Thanksgiving break, I'm already kicking off my shoes and undoing my belt, because this is gonna be a good Thanksgiving. And somehow, this year, I think our family is gonna actually finish the Turkey. Usually we have enough leftover meat to supply 10 turkey sandwiches (which are amazing by the way), but this year, I have a feeling we're gonna finish it all off. I don't even know how much family is coming this year. Hmm let me count. Dad, Mom, me, 1 year old bro, 5 year old bro, 19 year old bro (from college), Sis in Seattle, Amazing brother-in-law, Step Sister, Step Sisters boy friend, other step sister, and another step sisters bo friend! That's 12 People! And if my calculations are correct, our table only fits 6 people (8 to 10 if we're lucky)! Anyway, I'm pretty darn excited, because our whole family misses the 19 year old bro, and the Sis in Seattle and Amazing Step Brother. The 19 year old bro just went off to college in KU, and I can tell he probably misses the little bro's (who are SUPER cute!). Well, I hope all you faithful bloggers have a happy Thanksgiving too. It's kinda hard to keyboard, mostly because my left arm is in a cast, but I still manage. We mostly do warm ups and everything, but I think I pretty well know all the of the words. I get about 67 average gwam (words per minute), which is pretty good in my opinion. It's really fun in this class, but the only problem is that I know that it goes by fast, and that English class is next. English class... But really, High School is super fun. And even though I have like 3 extremely hard classes, I have a lot of fun during a lot of them. Oh, I have to go take a timed writing! See ya! WOW!

Wow that hurt, first of all falling off of my bike onto the sidewalk, and then the searing pain after the elbow surgery... I broke my arm a couple of weeks ago, and it REALLY hurts... It's hard to describe, not only the pain, but the horrible itching inside the cast. About a week after I fell off my bike, I had to have surgery to "put the bone back in place", and that was harder than I expected. Yes, they put me asleep for it, but afterwards it was just horrible. Every few days I would get little presents like chocalate and Sudoku puzzles, but they were hard to do because my broken arm. The worst thing is, it was my left arm that got broken. MY LEFT ARM!! Oh yeah, by the way, IM LEFT HANDED! Good way to start off high school... But yeah things have been going pretty good for me, Im actually learning how to write with my right hand, and getting over the awesome fact that I took the same medicine for my arm that House (the show on fox) takes for his leg. Pretty soon I'm going to sit down and watch Edward Scissorhands with my dad, and it looks like a pretty good movie. Seattle isn't doing so good baseball wise, because the Mariners are like 15 games back. But that's ok, there's still next season to kick Oakland and The Angel's booty's. But yeah, my arm is getting better, and the doctor even told me It was healing faster than the kid he had before me, so I'm happy. And even though I can't do some of the things my freinds do, I still get the enjoyment of whacking them over the head every once and a while. My bro's birthday is tomorow, and we "Amazoned" him something over the Internet cause he's off to college. I am in the state that I was born in! Im in Lawrence Kansas viewing KU for my bro, because he's off to college. It's pretty cool so far, and right now I'm on the hotel computer which they let you use for free. I haven't seen much of Kansas, because all I've looked at so far is the view from the lobby, which isnt that good... But yeah, I already LUV Kansas (I guess its probably because it's the state I was born in). And even though I havent been to the small town I was born in, I still love the place. You can check out my bro's mystery story on his blog, Midnight Eyes. Anyway, this is my mystery story, hope y'all like it.

Murder in Gettysburg

It was a wet night on 21st street, as Mr. Lockheart laid down for a good night’s sleep. It was almost 12 o’clock, and all of the people in Gettysburg were tucked in, getting what they deserved after a long, tiring day. It had been raining for a couple of hours, a hard rain, but not enough to flood a small town like Gettysburg. William lived alone, and lived somewhat of a hermit life, having a neighborhood, yet no friends, and no primary career. He lived mostly off welfare checks, and off small payments of giving blood and plasma. He worked at McDonald’s, but got paid below minimum wage. He never really knew his purpose in life, except to succeed in something, which after 42 years of life he still hasn’t done. Before he went to sleep, he would always think to himself “tomorrow is a new day. Tomorrow will be a fresh start. Tomorrow I will wake up, and succeed in something.” But his hopes were down that night, after the long rain, the cold night, and the 3 hours of watching re-runs of American Idol on his 10-inch T.V. He felt like nothing special would ever come to him, nothing to give him a boost so that he would feel confident in “succeeding”. If his luck couldn’t get any worse, a knock sounded at his front door. “Probably some Mormon group trying to get me to convert”, he thought. He got up out of his bed, rustling through candy wrappers and pizza boxes to get to the door. He slowly opened it, only to find a large man in black with a gun. Those were the last few seconds of his life.

“The murderer, of about 20-30 years old, made his way from the center of town, to this small neighborhood, careful not to step on any blades of grass, or to disturb anything that would end up looking strange. He walked on the sidewalk, and made his way to the front doorstep of Mr. Lockheart’s small house. He knocked on the door. Mr. Lockheart opened the door. A bullet was fired directly in the center of chest, killing poor William. The motive, I have no clue. The murderers identity, I haven’t any idea.”

“Sir, the story works out perfectly! The murderer’s motive was because he knew William from some other place. William must have annoyed him in some way, annoyed him into committing homicide. The murderer chooses a rainy day, to avoid any evidence of footprints or anything. And! William being a lonely man, this must have been someone he knew. But whom does William know?? The only people in contact with William are the people from McDonald’s.”
Looking at the scene, it was a total mess. The door was split in half, the windows broken; the body laid out on the roof. Everything breakable in that house was broken.

Everything was perfect in Detective McCormik’s mind, except one thing. How did no one see or hear the murder? The house is totally destroyed, which must have made a large amount of noise! Yet, even with houses only 5 or 6 yards away, no one noticed anything at all!

The Detective was an old man, one you could call a wise man. Quiet, elderly, yet respectable. He was one of those people you liked because you thought he always knew what was going on. He kept most information to himself. He was a good detective, which is especially strange, finding him in a small “useless” (you can say) town like Gettysburg. A cigar was always sticking out of his mouth, unless he took it out to yell at his assistant Peppy. You could say he was a hairy man, having a large brown beard, and an abundance of hair sticking out of his detective’s hat. You could say he was the stereotypical detective, yet he had one defining feature: He was missing a finger, on his left hand.

Slurping noises came out of the mouth of his assistant Peppy, who was loudly chewing gum and taking notes at the same time. Peppy claimed it helped him at the crime scene.

“Shut it Peppy”, yelled McCormik. “I’m trying to concentrate”.

Peppy gave him a bad look, and went back to the police car for some breakfast. Looking at some notes about William, the Detective noticed a couple of things. Peppy could have been right. The man William was a lonely man, meaning, who would have the motive to kill him, because no one really actually knew him. Also, looking at the history of Gettysburg, there hasn’t been crime in 2 years. In a small Kansas town like this, there isn’t much going on. No organized crime, no enemies or clubs. So who would kill a man like this? As far as McCormik was concerned, Mr. Lockheart was no bad man, and didn’t really do anything to deserve what had happened to him.

“Let’s see”, said the Detective, looking at more notes about the town. The Dectective wasn’t from Gettysburg, he was part of the Lawrence Police Department, and was called for this case, considering he was the best detective in Kansas, and because he was very nearby. He looked at the notes, and found that the population was merely 578 people, or, now 577. He also found that last night was the first rain since July, a couple of months before. So, his assistant seemed to be right. Someone he knew from McDonalds, and someone who chose to kill him on a rainy day to avoid complications with evidence.
Another question arose to Detective McCormik’s mind. Why isn’t the press here yet? Yes, it is a small town, but it was almost noon, and this being the first murder in two years, why would no press show up at all?

Peppy walked up, small donut crumbs spilling out of his mouth.

“So, sir. Have, uh, have you found out who killed the guy?”

“No, I have a couple of questions, things that don’t make sense, but I shouldn’t bother because I know you’re too stupid to answer any of em’.

“Yeah very funny boss. Try me.”

“Well, first of all, it was a loud murder. And obviously no one heard anything because there haven’t been any calls to the Gettysburg police yet. Also, who would kill this man, and what would be their motive. Why wouldn’t they use their own police department instead of ours, and why haven’t the press showed up at all.

“Ok, I got answers to all of those questions boss. It’s a Friday night, people are tired, and they want to get their good night’s sleep. So no one wakes up to loud noises, they’re fast asleep. The second question, I’ve already answered, some dude from McDonalds that’s pissed at William because of a raw burger or something”-

“Yeah but that doesn’t make any sense Peppy! If it’s a raw burger that the guy is willing to kill some about, than the guy obviously isn’t a trained murderer! He’s some guy who has a bad temper and gets pissed real easy at a raw burger! He’s no trained murderer, or he wouldn’t be in Gettysburg. And another thing, this murder was so perfect, so it must have been a trained murderer of some kind which it wasn’t!”

A crowd of people started forming on the un-mowed grass. Peppy put in another piece of gum, and started getting people to move away from the crime scene. Then, finally, the Channel 3 News showed up. They started taking pictures and had a report on it, but Detective McCormik was expecting them to have an interview. There was none. The press was there for an hour, yet no interview took place with the Detective. The press left, and more and more people started crowding around.

The detective took out his notepad, and started taking some notes. He knew one thing; the murderer is often in the crowd of people that are examining the crime scene, to avoid suspicion that they were the murderer. He walked in front of each one of them, and looked them straight in the eyes. One thing was very strange that he noticed. Every one of them avoided eye contact. Using more psychology, if two people are suspects, often the culprit avoids eye contact of the person examining them. Who knows? Maybe this was a strange town that did things much different than the usual cases of what he dealt with.

McCormik scribbled down some more notes as he made his way towards Peppy, who was in the back seat of the cop car reading The Da Vinci Code, still chewing the same piece of gum.

“OK Peppy, I got some news for ya. Some person claimed they saw a person in all black walking down the street at about 11:45. This must’ve been the murderer, because everything works out perfectly that it was he.

“Yeah boss, ok, but how does that help us…?”

“Ummm, it doesn’t really help us actually, just the fact now that we know it was 1 person, and not more than 1.”

“I don’t know what to tell ya boss, except that I’m at the part of Da Vinci Code where they kill that one guy, so I really want to get back to my story.”

And then, a thought came into Detective McCormik’s mind. It seemed strange the first time he thought of it, but now that he thinks about it, it works out perfectly.

“Peppy! I got it! I know who the murderer was!

“Who??”

“It must have been the whole entire-“

Then a person in the crowd screamed in their loudest voice “STOP!” The detective turned around to see what was going on. A Black car with tinted windows pulled out of the driveway next to the house they were investigating, and went full speed to the highway. All thoughts changed in McCormik’s mind, from one thing to the other, as he jumped into his vehicle, quickly turning the keys, and sped off to chase the car. He was shaking, for he had never really been in a high-speed chase before, he was just a detective.

“Peppy, I want you to call for back-up, this is a fast one, and I don’t think we will be able to catch after him.”

Peppy threw the novel to the ground and quickly called the Gettysburg police.

“We have a high speed chase on highway 51! We need backup. The car is making its way north to Lawrence, and I don’t think we will be able to catch him going north! We need more cars! It’s a small black car with tinted windows, I think it’s a Honda Accord but we’re too far away to see. I can barely catch the license plate number, but I think it is I76-4976.”

There was no response. For about 10 minutes the chase continued, and no backup came. And then, McCormik turned around. He knew what was happening. He was being led off to somewhere else, to buy time for the murderers. Yet it wasn’t just 2, or 3 murderers, it was 577. 577 people that all hated 1 person. All coming up with what they thought was a flawless plan to kill 1 innocent man. The reason? Who knows? Maybe to get some action in a boring town like they were in. But, as the Detective and his assistant arrived back into the horrible town of Gettysburg, they found no one. They found that every one of those 577 murderers had evacuated the small, dry, and flat town. And had done it all to take away someone’s life. Everything made sense at that moment. Why no one woke up, they knew it was happening. Why the press had taken time to show up, it’s because they knew it had happened. Yes he had solved the murder case, yet how was he to arrest 577 murderers, when he didn’t know their whereabouts?

Matrix Ping Pong and Lightsaber Fight

I was surfing the web the other day, when my older brother was all like "hey eaglith! Wasup fellow bloggers. Yes yes, i have had about a month where i have fallen out of the "blogging" stage, and right at this moment, i just felt like blogging. No I haven't been on any vacation, I have just found a new interest in a new game. First I liked online monopoly, then I liked a horribly awesome game called N, and now i like this game called runescape. I can't get my hands off of it. It's like this weird RPG type deal, thats like horribly addictive, and I can't get my hands off of it because like half of our school plays it. But, it has its downsides. You always come across some player thats like horribly nerdy that like level 200, that plays 24/7. Of course, that guy kills you and is all like "ownage! pure ownage you stupid noobie!" So, as you can tell this game is like this: your a player that has a bunch of stats, and you go around gaining levels and killing fellow human players. Sounds fun? I don't think so! BUT IT IS SOOOOOOO addictive!!!!

Spring Break ended, and now all I have to do is wait for graduation. Is that exciting! I will finnaly be able to get away from my horrid teachers that won't stop piling on the homework! We have about 6 or 7 weeks until graduation, and my grades are still pretty high, so it's lookin' good. The only thing I'm worrying about is this thing we are doing in Literature class, where we have to memorize a poem of our choice. We're in the poetry unit, and right now we are on like HAIKU's and Narratives. I dont know what poem im gonna memorize, but it would probably end up being like, "O Cap'n my Cap'n". I strangely like that poem. But anyway, feel free to go to runescape.com (if you have a lot of patience and time), and if you do go there, add to your freinds list the name, "eaglith", and my other account, "eaglith owns". Cya! I've done homework, played various games on the computer, but still, im so very bored!!! Ever since the end of Christmas Break, we've never really had any days off! There might have been a few, but it's not like I wasn't bored on those days either! School has gone on so long, that I've begun a painful phase. This painful phase, is what I call the "waiting phase". This phase consists of pain, horror, and lots of homework in the many week days in between Christmas Break and Spring Break. It's the start of the new quarter for us, and even more homework has piled on us. We just got assigned a new assignment in Literature class. We have to right about 2 paragraphs on this one story called "The Light in the Forest". It's one of those typical Literature class books. You know, the whole "surviving style", and the whole style of "Indians". All of the books we have read in Literature class have at least something to do with surviving, or Indians. Their all the same! And other than that, homework has been pretty easy this past week, and I've just pretty much been playing either boogle, or this new game that I might consider telling you about. I'm sure there will be much more homework to come. School was pretty boring today, but I did have a lot of fun in todays P.E. game. We usually play dodge ball, bowling, or blitz ball. But today, we did steal the bacon. Boy was it fun. There were two teams, my team, and my opponent's team. Since there are about 20 people in my class, each team had 10 people in it. The teams went and sat down at opposite sides of the gym, and they were in a certain order. The first person, was #1, and so on. This happened with both teams. So the P.E. teacher would call out different numbers, and which ever number you were, you would go up. Say I was number 7, and Mr. Rogers (the P.E. teacher) called the number seven. Me, and the #7 on the opposite side, would both run up. And whoever could steal the little fluffy pig, and then take it back to their home base without being tagged by the other player, would get 10 points. So if I get the pig and run back to my base, I get 10 points. But what if he tags me on my way back? Then his team gets 5 points. Simple enough? There are a couple of twists. Sometimes he calls like, even numbers, or people wearing red, or number 5 and 6. Then more than one kid would go up. So, he adds another twist, because he wants us to work together. If more than one person goes up, than they can pass the bacon to each other. If you drop the bacon, the opposing team gets 10 points. But NO!!!! Yet another twist! There are 20 cones set up near where the bacon is. The point is that you don't knock down a pin. If you do, the opposing team gets 5 points. And, there are really no other twists. Unfortunetly, nothing special happened during the game worth talking about, so I'm just gonna' flat out tell you, we lost. HORRIBLY!!!!! At first we were losing 60 to 0, and then it was 130 to 40, and then by the end of the game it was 240 to 120!!!!!!!!!! We lost, but I actually got some of the points for the team. Suprising actually... Then I played trumpet in band, and then left school to come home and blog. As you may have noticed (or not noticed if you don't view my blog), is that I haven't been blogging for about a week. Yes, I know that your checking my blog every minute in agony looking to see if I (the wonderful blogger) have made a new interesting entry. Now, before I get to what explains the title of this entry, I must tell you one simple thing. This blog is NOT a boggle blog. I have no intention of MAKING it into a boggle blog, and hopefully will NEVER make into a boggle blog. It's just that I absolutely love boggle, and feel like writing about it in ALL of my entries. Boggle is very fun. When there is a board with only one vowel, or even a board when there is 16, IT IS ALWAYS FUN! One good thing about (online) boggle (except for winning of course), is looking at other boggler's names. Some funny, and others downright funny. Some actually intrigue me and my family. I'll start with annecentral.blogspot, who has actually gotten 1st place quite a few times, and mostly always gets 10th place or above. So, we checked her blog, but you can't post comments on her blog! We really, really wanted to congratulate her on her victory! Some of them inappropriate, like BigCheifHukkaFukka, and team penis, were doing well. And there were some simple ones like BIG TOM and frank, and others are just, weird, like ccccccccc, and Team OGRE WINGS, and Pinkie Toe Pickles. After playing online boggle for a while, you just begin to get to know all of your fellow bogglers and it starts to become more than just a simple competition. For example, one person named themselves, "I beat tom every time". And it's funny, because after one round, we see him get a worse place than BIG TOM. Sometimes, you can blatantly tell that someone is cheating, like they get 20 points above every one else, and win like that 5 times in a row. But otherwise, boggle is just plain fun. Oh! It looks like a monkey with one eye! Dude that's awesome!" Yes it's ausome, but no, it's a cyclops kitty cat... First time I saw that, it scared the bejesus outta me. It's just a little kitty cat, born in Redmond Oregon, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005. Yeah, that just about freaks me out. The suprising thing about it was that it was born with one eye, and that eye was so large, that it didn't have a nose. The poor little thing died in one day. It probably had something to do with it not having a nose, and not having the sense of smell. I mean, this goes beyond Glow-In-The-Dark-Pigs right? Well, I just feel like telling you again. I just got a couple of new boxes of cereal the other day, and I thought, "I love cereal!" I got two extravagant kinds: Tuttie Frutties, and Golden Grahams. I've had Golden Grahams before, but they're so GOOD! It was like 3 years ago, and I loved them so much! But then for some reason, I never saw them again. Now, to this day, I saw them on the small crowded shelf at my local small-town mart in Carbondale. BOOM! I got them, and tasted them, a whole wave of pleasure swept my taste-bud filled mouth. It was a party in my mouth. Mmmmmmm... I also got Tuttie Frutties. No, I didn't get them because the name was so catchy. I got them because my mom said that I had to get one name brand box, and one generic. So I chose Tuttie Frutties! Their like, exactly like Fruit Loops, but they have a better name. Right now, I can't wait till' morning so that that I can wake my sleepy taste-buds up with my wonderful cereal. Other cereals that I like are Grape Nuts (with honey!), cinnamon toast Crunch, Life, Cacklin Oat Bran, Raisin Bran, Honey Bunches of Oats (Strawberry kind), and my favorite would have to be Lucky Charms. I haven't had Lucky Charms in like a year, but I always crave them every once in a while, and it's always tasty on camping trips. Otherwise, there isn't much else I can tell you about Tuttie Frutties, except that I like to sort out all the different colors, like I usually eat all the colors except purple and blue, and then I just eat it all. I know you might find it disgusting, but it's fun playing with your cereal (as long as you eat it all in the long run...). Noah created 'Interesting Stuff for Interesting People' (Eaglith's blogspot) two months ago. "I just got so addicted to it," Noah notes. 'It's really fun putting links in the blog and just making blog entries about myself.' Leverett counts his children's blogs as his favorites."
Wow, isn't that amazing! I blog for like three months and I'm in the newspaper! It's mostly because of Dave, and my Dad though. I'm really into this stuff now. The article is like huge! Right on the front page of Life. It's really cool, because she interviewed me and my dad over email. I'm glad I put that hit counter thing on template, so now I can check every once in a while how many people viewed my blog. Otherwise, I'm just chillin' and havin' a good time. I admit, school is tomorrow but I'm still happy. I've got a lot of homework, but I'll survive. At least there's a new episode of Family Guy on tonight. So, I guess I'll just finish this up and go start on my homework. My brother Schmendric wants to get on and put that hit counter thingy on his template so I'm just gonna let him do that. So, I guess that means BYE!!

My Name is Mud

It was another day today. I woke up, and went to school. Same things happened. It wasn't as bad today. I think my brother softened up on the revolting, repelling, disgusting farts of foul Chinese food, so that was pretty good for my sinuses. And come to think of it, I've had quite a good day today. It's FRIDAY!!! Also, I have gotten a new found love to the band Primus, my brother's (D-Funk) favorite band. My other brother (the 18 year old one) got this really cool DVD of Primus for Hanukkah and we've been watching it ever since. Les Claypool is just so amazing at bass guitar, and just the style of their music amazes us. In other news, my OTHER brother is comin' into town today from California with his new found fiancee, and we haven't seen her yet, and we haven't seen my bro' in like years, so we're all excited. I think I'm goin' to go watch Primus now, I don't know. Things are goin' smoothly here in Carbondale (I think) and good ol' Illinois is still like 50 degrees. I really hope it snows soon! It's cold everywhere else!!! I mean, it's like in the begginin' of January, and it's still, "no jacket" weather. It's been starting to get cooler and I'm still confident that it will snow again. Anyway, Primus ROCKS! I just got back. They are really piling up the homework. I'm am really sick and tired of it! Yesterday, we had to do a journal entry, a whole book report, 30 questions of math (algebra!), and some other stupid worksheets that had no purpose except to make the class suffer. It's just that it's really hard to get used to! I went to bed at like 10 o'clock last night and had to wake up at like 6:45! I went to school, and had to put up with everyone, and everything. It's terrible. I admit that I'm starting to get used to it, but I'm still in despair. I'm always hungry, grumpy, and sleepy during the day, and WE ARE HAVING A TEST TOMMOROW!!! Tommorow! I guess you might not be very interested in my sick, degrading agony that occurs while Iv'e been at school these last couple of days. But, I'm sorry. I really have nothing to talk about! I just got home from school and guess what happens! I'm greeted by my 4 year old brother who keeps farting chinese food! It smells disgusting! And I'm trying to watch "The Incredibles" with him but he JUST, KEEPS, FARTING! I'm kind of disgusting you right. Well, that's what happening! And then there's my other brother, Schmendric, an 18 year old high school smart boy who lazes around and stays up until, like 8 o'clock in the morning hanging out with his friends. It doesn't get worse around here! Well, I guess my day might get better... I think we are having pizza real soon, so that might cheer me up. Otherwise, my day has been just plainly clear and simple. Holiday break went by so quick. I'm serious. I didn't even have time to sleep! Now I'm going back to school. Who knows how much homework I have. Anyway, I guess I should just enjoy the rest of the break. It's just like Thanksgivin' break! It went by so quickly! I'm EXCITED about writing in my journal tomorrow in English class. My teacher is probably going to make us write like 500 words about what happened during Christmas break. That'll be fun. All of our other teachers are probably going to give no mercy and pile down the homework. Oh Yeah! I was playing boggle the other day, and we saw the person in first place. And she was, "annecentral.blogspot". So we went to her blog to say congratulations, but she wouldn't allow comments! What a nerve... So yeah, you should check her blog out, she's a fellow boggle player that happened to be advertising her blog and happened to get in first place. So yeah, schools tomorrow, so I'm going to try to enjoy every minute of today. Well, first of all, it's 2006! 2006!!! Aren't you excited! It's going to be hard for me to get used to putting "1/1/06 now because I'm just so used to putting "05" on all my excruciating homework assignments. Anything else? I changed my template! I figured, what the heck. And I did it! Unfortunately, it deleted ALL of my template changes so I had to put all of my links back. Notice the link, "Times are Tough for Dreamers"? That's a blog of my new blogger addict brother, who used to have a "MY SPACE" with all of his high school friends. Other than that, there isn't much that has changed in my life, except that I've been kind of sick lately, with on and off sinus headaches and sniffles and soar throats, but I'm getting better. "And", "Lee", "Doe", "Crawl", "Crawling". I was typing every single word I could find. There wasn't one that I could miss. My mind was focused on the 4x4 square that lay before my eyes. Combinations were every where. I had my mind set on getting 1st, beating bush-kozyol. It had ended, after three long minutes, the game had ended. I had 48 pints, and with my beloved dad's help, stared at the scoreboard in agony. 4 seconds left, 3, 2, 1. I couldn't see the yellow, my name wasn't there. I looked down at the 140 people that were playing with me. Then, I looked up. And there it was. The name, "eagliths.blogspot" was in blue at the very top. I had tied with "bush-kozyol" (a fellow boggle addict), that evening, for 1st place. It was WEBoggle, the best online game ever to walk the earth. I cheered, slapped hands with my dad, at 10 o'clock at night. It was amazing. For the first time, ever in Eaglith history, had I tied for first place with bush-kozyol. Oh yeah, and today, me and my brother sat down and got 18 points tying for first place a second time. I seriously think that we are getting better. Anyway, check out WEBoggle. Lucky for you, in this blog entry, I am not going to bombard you with any links, or pictures, or any games that happen to be extremely fun. Instead, I'm going to bombard you with my lonely thoughts about what happens after Christmas morning... Don't you get this feeling? There are like 1000 presents sitting right in front of you. From games, to shoes, to clothes, or even octupus oil from the Phillipines. You always get this certain feeling. It's like this this deserted sleepy, sad, and semi-depressed feeling. Don't you feel it? And then you like, "Hey! Maybe if I play with one of my presents I'll cheer up!" But no. Even if your having all the fun in the world, you still have the darrnn feeling. I just get sooooo sleepy. Even at like, 5 oclock or somethin, i'll still be like, all sleepy and stuff. You have to know what i'm talkin 'bout. Anyway. My whole family plays it. J-Funk, E-Funk, T-Funk, Justin-Funk, and me, N-Funk. Oooooooooo, I'll tell you what. That game is fun! Whether your playing it on weboggle or with your beloved family members, you'll definitely have a wonderful time. I've mostly just been playing it online with my dad and bro. We call ourselves Boyos McGurck most of the time, but sometimes we call ourselves, "El Duderino", or "Lookin for Josie". It's extremely fun. If you don't know how to play, google "boggle" and check out the rules. My family is on just about every night. It's really cool, because you always see the top guy's on the scoreboard there a bunch of times. If you play, than you would often see, "Vowel Movement", "Ippo", and other extremely confusing names. If you play it, you'll definitely have fun. See the picture? If you know how to play, post a comment giving me all the words you can find in this game, if you want to anyway... I'm sorry I'm posting an entry right after a different one, and I know I should go to bed, but I just can't help it!
I can't! There's this new game I have been playing, and it is just so addictive. It's not that "n" game I linked to but it's different. It's called monopoly (otherwise known as nopoly diction, but if I put that on the title, than people wouldn't really understand). Online, monopoly... I don't know if you are into that stuff, but it's just so fun. I have linked to it in case you want to play it, my username is eaglith77 and i'll usually be in Marvin Gardens. If you don't understand than just click on link. You'll see. You have to make a username and password, if you want to enjoy the fun. And if you have a big family, just play the board game, it's much funner. And, that is all... Aren't you excited about Christmas! Yes yes, I bet you missed me. The weekend just ended, so as you can tell, I'm quite sad. I admit, I haven't been blogging very much, but the reason is the lack of sleep. I've have tons of homework over the last couple of days, and well, I just plainly haven't really had the time. Packages are coming in, and comin' in fast. Now that Thanksgivin' is over, I has Christmas to look forward to, just two more weeks. Two more weeks... Anyway, I got the tree today. It was fun. There were like a billion trees there, all of them like, awesome. So it was hard to choose! This tree or that tree, this tree or that tree. I also played in a Christmas concert yesterday. It was fun. It was definitely better than I had expected. I play trumpet. And, I hate to say this, but the band actually played pretty well... It wasn't good, but wasn't bad. So-So. More or Less. Anyway... The phone keeps ringing and there's no one on the other line. It's really irritating me! I'm serious! I always take the time to get up and answer the phone, and no one's there! Well, I guess I should get to bed. It's 10:49. At least I don't have any homework. But there are like 3 tests tomorrow. Bye the way, check out my new link, you might like it, unless you support intelligent design (I don't know what i'm talking about, just click on the link...). I guess it's not that bad. I mean, I don't really have very many assighnments due next week. Anyway, I did the flash project with my friend. Totally ausome. Totally. I'm gonna try and get them online, on like flashplayer or something. They're really cool. One of them, is this snake goes up and eats this one guy. How's it going! I just woke up. I'm excited about Thanksgiving. We're having it at 2 oclock, so exciting. I'm trying to do some more stuff with my blog. Like music, and things like that. Anyway, i'm doing this ausome flash thing this week. Me and one of my friends are setting up a claymation project. As it being quite simple, we started using legos and a little dragon monster that marks his territory. As of now we just videotaped it and are about to put it on flash. I love flash! It's so cool. Once we get it on flash than we can watch our amazing work. Hopefully, we will post it online and people can post comments like on a blog. BLOGGING is soooo addictive! I love it! And same with flash. It's really fun just making flash presentations and watching them over and over. I recently made one about a guy that says hi and the a meteor falls down and he flies away. Sounds pretty crazy but it is soooo fun! Anyway... I better go back to talking with my family from out of town, i just really wanted a break to do some blogging. This is eaglith again. I have posted a picture of me when I was about 7 or 8. It's me eating cereal. I have a surprising love of cereal. It's sooo good! Just the milk, and the crunch in your mouth. There's nothing like a good bowl of Lucky Charms in the morning. Anyway, I just wanted to show you my love of cereal, and a little taste of what I look like. Why! Because this is really fun! Yes, I hope that people leave some comments but it's just really fun writing so everyone can see it... Once I post this blog, i'll be so proud. So proud! I guess things are going fine for me. I probably will keep on making blogs that have no meaning and relevance to anything. But I guess it's just fun reading random blogs. This is my first blog. I had learned the idea from my dad, Thomas Leverett, and had thought it to be quite interesting. As of now, I am mostly just linking to other blogs, and having a lot of fun. Okay. That's all I really have to say. Maybe i'll just go back to playing monopoly online. It's really fun. Either that or i'll just watch some old movie with my dad. THAT will be fun... Well, thanks for reading my blog. Please post a comment (it will help my self-esteem).
